First off, I have to give a s/o to some of the talented vendors who made this day so magical for The Browns & their guests.

Bride's Shoes: Badgley Mischka Make up: Rose Carter, Sugar Face Make up: Yentle Carter, Adorned Cosmetics Hair: Tonishia West, TLaFaye Suits: Looking Good, Valdosta, Ga Catering: Fran's Catering Beverages: Jessie's Restaurant & Catering Cake: Rebecca Browning, BeBe's Cakes Photo Booth: Valdosta Photo Booth Rental DJ: Josh Hunt, DJ Ski-Z Band: The Katz DownStairz Videographer: Damian Grey, Revo Media Photographer: Glori Beaufort Photography From the praise break during the ceremony to the Moroccan inspired decor, this wedding day was full of color & soul! The ceremony was held at Anya's home church which provided a comfortable and familiar atmosphere for everyone in attendance. I've witnessed my couple's spirituality expressed in varying ways at each of their ceremonies. But this was first time I've seen such a joyous celebration as Anya reached Eric and the end of the aisle. Their pastor then unapologetically led the room into a moment of praise and everyone joined The Browns in their rejoicing. It was a beautiful experience to be a part of. Their reception decor BLEW me away and I'm everyone would agree with me. It was flawless. I felt like I was in a movie! The room was dressed from floor to ceiling with just about every color imaginable. The dance floor was both chic and relaxed with the sleek couches surrounding it. It was a VIP lounge where everyone was on the list. Then add The Katz Downstairz and DJ Ski-Z for the perfect fusion of ambient melodies & party music to complete the evening. Anya & Eric, welcome to married life you guys!! It gave me so much joy to document the day your two families became one. I was in awe of your beautiful children & how much they adore ya'll. That says a lot. I wish you all the very best life has to offer as you enter this next season together.

How cute are they?! Ugh. I just love these two so much. They're both soft & tender souls. So kind. Fantastic friends, both to each other and to everyone they meet. I could literally hang out with them all day. For their 1-year anniversary, they wanted to do a portrait session at home. I came over that morning, had coffee with them and then got to shooting. They finished sipping on their coffee in their breakfast nook, then baked cookies for brunch #YUM. They played some music, cuddled some more, then we went outside and took some portraits by their citrus trees. I felt like I was shooting for a Southern Living spread or something haha but so much better. So real. I could re-do this day over and over again and I wouldn't be able to make it anymore perfect than it already was.
Happy anniversary, you two! Thank you for allowing into the most intimate parts of your lives and trusting me to document them. Let's do this every year, kay? Kay. xoxo Music: (No One Knows Me) Like The Piano - Sampha |
